Erm...I know it doesn't look all that great, the original charcoal drawing got crumpled up somehow, and I tried to fix and make it decent with Photoshop.
Please full-view, it looks a lot better that way.
But anyways, what I did had in mind for this drawing was the Goddess of Cooking Out, the deity responsible for all those burnt burgers that fell into the fire, as well as the fond memories of close bonds being made around the cooking fire or grill.
I worked very hard on this drawing and still will be proud of it no matter what.
Edit: I almost forgot, this is an entry for 's Contest
It is very good. Looks greek-style, sort of. The idea of a cook-out goddess.... awesome.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same.
